Gino Castaño

Gino Castaño creates bold architectural gestures using a mixture of materials and colors that evoke a sense of drama and luxury. Drawing on an extensive network of resources and artisans around the globe, he is relentless in his search for the right stone, the perfect chair, that unusual piece of art — bringing passion, energy, wit, and a unique vision to every project.

After earning a dual degree in International Relations and Spanish Literature at Syracuse University, Gino began his professional life inside Hollywood’s movie studios. A chance opportunity to renovate an actress’s residence led to his career in design. He led projects at Cheryl Rowley Design and BAMO, co-founded the San Francisco studio Paletteur, and is now based in Palm Springs, California, taking on projects worldwide.
